A small scrape turned into a smooth fix

I needed Bumper Scuff repair after a minor scrape left my car marked, so I acted quickly and was pleasantly surprised by how it turned out.

It happened near Birmingham New Street Station on a busy afternoon, where a awkward turn led to the scratch. I remember feeling a bit embarrassed as I checked the damage under the street lights.

Later that day, I started searching locally for a repair and came across AutoScratch through a local listing. Their site looked clear, so I decided to make contact. I sent over some close ups and received a detailed response. Booking was smooth, and we here arranged a time that suited my schedule.

On the day, the technician arrived right as planned and started by wiping down the panel to remove grime. Then came careful sanding to level the scratch. Where needed, they applied fine filler to even out the surface. After that, the colour matching process was surprisingly accurate, blending the paint with great care. The blending itself made the repair look seamless with the rest of the panel. Finally, the polishing stage brought back a glossy shine, and the whole section looked almost untouched.

When it was done, I stepped back and honestly struggled to find where the scratch had been. The convenience of having it done at my home made a big difference, and the turnaround felt efficient. That said, I can see this type of service being more suited to smaller scratches rather than anything too severe. Still, for what I needed, the experience felt practical, and I drove away feeling much happier than I had earlier that day.
